B.Sc. in Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy with 2-4 years of working experience in the Humanitarian context;

Knowledge/understanding of humanitarian architecture, disability inclusion standards, accessibility etc.
Diplomacy skills and ability to understand and handle multiple perspectives.

Excellent oral and written English and Bangla and capacity to produce learning documents and products.

Project Management:
Support the Program Operations Manager in tracking the implementation of project activities in alignment with the project plan.
Team Management:
Coordinate the daily activities of the Rehab team and; track the activity progress
Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of home-based rehabilitation (HBR) services.
Supervise and mentor team members to ensure high-quality service provision.
Service Delivery:
Conduct a clinical assessment of Project Participants, including persons with disabilities, in the Rohingya and host communities.
Develop individualized therapeutic plans focusing on occupational therapy interventions and provide services as per the plan.
Regularly review and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Conduct accessibility assessment to install accessibility features to improve accessibility for persons with disabilities.
Select appropriate Assistive Devices (AD) for the project participants to enhance their mobility camp; independence based on AD assessment.
Ensure proper training for Project Participants and caregivers on the use & maintenance of assistive devices as well as home exercise.
Identify and facilitate access to community resources and services for Project Participants.
Supervise and mentor Therapy Assistants and Community Mobilizers to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
Conduct training sessions to enhance the technical capacity of the rehabilitation team.
Documentation:
Prepare the quarterly Narrative reports (Rehab part) of the CBM NZ/MFAT project.
Prepare Camp-wise project completion report.
Develop Case stories.
Liaison:
Maintain coordination with local government authorities and other stakeholders for smooth project implementation.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by the supervisor/line manager or CDD management.

CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.

CDD is accepting application for the mentioned position under a project named ‘Inclusive Humanitarian actions for the protracted crisis of the Rohingya and the host in Cox’s Bazar (Extension),” funded by CBMG. The duration of the project is till 31st December 2026.
The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed accordingly.
