Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the implementation of all SHOKTI project field activities, including child rights awareness, health and nutrition sessions, and advocacy meetings.

  • Supervision: Provide direct supervision, mentoring, and technical support to the Supervisor(s) to ensure quality control across all activities.

  • Planning: Lead the development of monthly action plans in coordination with the Project Manager and field supervisors.

  • MEAL Responsibilities

  • Monitoring: Conduct regular field visits to track activity progress against the logframe indicators.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate registers for child protection incidents, school attendance, and beneficiary profiles.

  • Accountability: Facilitate the community-based feedback and complaints mechanism, ensuring it is accessible to children.

  • Evaluation Support: Assist in baseline/endline surveys and facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with children and caregivers.

  • Learning: Document success stories, "lessons learned," and case studies of children affected by the program for periodic reports.

  • Advocacy Coordination: Coordinate high-level advocacy meetings with local government authorities, including Union Parishads and Disaster Risk Reduction Committees.

  • Reporting: Consolidate activity reports and case stories from supervisors and submit them to the Head Office and Project Manager in a timely manner.

  • Financial Oversight: Monitor field expenditures, verify bills, and ensure the accuracy of financial documentation submitted by the team.

  • Logistics & Procurement: Oversee the procurement of materials and the maintenance of equipment required for project activities.

Skill and Competencies:

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban and Rural Planning, Social Science, Development Studies, or a related field.

Experience Requirements: At least 3–5 years of experience in project management, specifically in community-based development or child rights projects.

Job Requirements: Strong knowledge of development theater, child rights, and advocacy strategies.

  • Proven ability to manage teams and facilitate complex stakeholder meetings.

  • Excellent proficiency in Bangla and English.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Computer Literacy: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Willingness to travel: Must be willing to travel extensively to remote char locations to ensure field-level project quality
