Education:

  • Master’s degree in public health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Statistics, Population Sciences, Monitoring & Evaluation, Gender Studies, Disability Studies, or a related discipline.

  • Academic coursework or formal training in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), research methodology, or data management.

  • Specialized training in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), gender equality, safeguarding, or disability inclusion will be considered a strong advantage.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and/or knowledge management in I/NGOs in Bangladesh.

  • Understanding of SRHR, SGBV, Gender based indicators, results-based management, and data quality assurance

  • Understanding of and experience of working with children and young people.

  • Knowledge of and experience of working with persons with disabilities will be considered as an advantage.

  • Experience with Kobo/ODK, Excel, Power BI, or similar data tools

  • Proven analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills

  • Knowledge of gender, disability inclusion, safeguarding, and ethical data management

  • Proficiency in English and Bangla is required



Responsibilities & Context:

Project-specific Responsibilities:

  • Design tools to assess learning for partners’ organizations.

  • Design and implement SRHR-specific monitoring tools, indicators, and reporting systems

  • Coordinate routine data collection, analysis, visualization, and data quality assessments

  • Generate evidence to track progress, outcomes, and learning from SRHR & SGBV interventions

  • Document best practices, case studies, success stories, and lessons learned

  • Support preparation of donor reports, learning briefs, and knowledge products

  • Facilitate learning, reflection, and adaptive management processes within the project team

  • Build staff capacity on monitoring tools, data use, and knowledge documentation

  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, data protection, and safeguarding requirements

  • Collaborate closely with the MEAL team to ensure effective monitoring, data quality, learning, and adaptive management

  • Willingness to travel frequently to project locations

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.

  • Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.

  • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.

  • Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

  • The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.

  • CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Knowledge Management and Monitoring officer’ under a project title ‘Body Talk 2.0’ to be implemented with the support of Liliane Fonds. The duration of the project is till 31st December 2028. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
