Experience:
Masters in any discipline preferable in Disability Studies, International Development, Humanitarian Assistance, Disaster Risk Management, Social Science or any other relevant area.
Minimum 08 years of professional work experience in relevant sectors (National/ International NGO)
Professional and technical understanding of Project management.
Familiar with NGO Bureau rules & regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
Excellent reading and writing skills in English and Bangla, including the ability to compose, edit, analyze and report using complex information
Proven experience in development/ humanitarian program management, team management and on Disability inclusion in Development or in Humanitarian response.
Proven experience working with National NGOs and/or other international stakeholders.
Prepared to work for long hours in case of emergency in challenging humanitarian context.
Ability to build the capacity of team members on Disability Inclusion and Management issues.

*** Job Responsibilities:
Collect project implementation approval from Government offices and personnel at different level including office of the DC, RRRC, Civil Surgeon, Union Councils, Upazilla Offices, and other offices as relevant.
Develop/ revise the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP), monitoring accordingly, and adapt things as needed to implement the project effectively and efficiently.
Provide management support to the Project team to implement project activities maintaining high standard.
Support rehabilitation team, inclusion team and administration team to build their capacity on successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.
Support team in development of a robust monitoring plan including clear learning opportunities, knowledge products to be captured during the course of project implementation.
Support project team in putting beneficiary feedback/ accountability mechanism in place, jointly monitor the system in order to allow voices of beneficiaries being taken into account.
Facilitate needs assessment for identifying project strategies and interventions.
Provide strategic support on data gathering and analysis in order to assess project implementation progress, outputs and potential outcomes as well as development of further activities.
Ensuring narrative, monitoring, financial and other reporting deadlines are met by the concerned, ensures quality of and submission of reports.
Provide related meeting minutes (to CDD HQ) attended within next two working days.
Carry out regular monitoring visits and follow up at field for all components of the project and develop clear reports to support documentation of project progress and areas of improvement for project team. Dedicate minimum two day per week for field visits.
Monitoring the safety and security issues arising within the project locations with reviewing of safety and security plans as per needs.
Work closely with donor representative(s) on project planning and implementation.
Conducts financial and project management & analysis and produce reports and write-ups on short-notice.
Ensures agreed coordination mechanisms are maintained.
Work closely with the Finance Team to produce Budget related documents.
Arrange and conduct monthly (1st week of each month) Action Plan and Coordination Meeting with the related team focal.
Supervise the work of relevant staff as per authority (including development of Key Performance Objectives, clear work plans, support visits and meetings).
Manage staff conflict & crisis supported by HR.
Assist in development of clear Terms of Reference for any technical support visit.
Regularly participate in relevant partners coordination meetings (NGO Coordination Meeting), sectoral meeting (e.g., Health) to (a) maintain updated and provide updates in sectoral areas where CDD/HI are working and (b) influence the sector/working group/organizations to be more inclusive.
To identify appropriate opportunities to make government and non-government organizations' programs and services inclusive within the scope of the project.
Meet with project partners concerning project implementation status, any potential challenges/change of plans and future opportunities.
Attend meetings with Government offices and personnel at different level including office of the DC, RRRC, Civil Surgeon, Union Councils, Upazilla Offices, and other offices as relevant.
Identify areas for professional development and share with the Focal at CDD-HQ to enable an action plan to improve professional skills.
Engage in self-directed learning to grow skills and competencies.
Seek feedback and support as necessary to improve skills and achieve objectives.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by Head of F&A and/or CDD management.

CDD is implementing multiple humanitarian and development projects at Ukhiya and Teknaf in Cox's Bazar and BhasanChar with the support of Handicap International (HI), Humanity & Inclusion. These projects serve both Rohingya refugee and host communities and focus on disability inclusion, rehabilitation, protection, social inclusion and humanitarian assistance.
The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
