Experience:
Master’s degree in ECCD/Education/Social Science or any other relevant field.
At least five years of relevant professional experience in ECCD and primary and secondary education, including a minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in ECCD training facilitation and development of age-appropriate teaching-learning materials.
Detail knowledge about learning toys and learning aids, a clear understanding of how children learn, and detailed knowledge of training.
Strong networking and stakeholder engagement capacity.
Ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively with local government, DSHE, and district and sub-district-level Primary and Secondary Education Offices.
Excellent training design and facilitation capabilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective active listening and counselling abilities.

The Opportunity: The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that children of RMG workers in Dhaka and Savar can realize their rights to quality, inclusive protection and education services.
The position is responsible for the effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities in line with donor requirements and the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP). The position will work closely with the Child Protection (CP) team to achieve the overall project goal and strengthen partner organizations to ensure quality and timely implementation of project interventions. Key responsibilities include building the capacity of partner staff, secondary school teachers on STEM education, and daycare teachers and caregivers. The position also requires strong skills in designing and facilitating training, meetings, and workshops.
The position will ensure the quality of ECCD activities in daycare centers, including the development and use of age-appropriate, low- and no-cost Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs); provide training and ongoing technical support to daycare teachers and caregivers; and monitor children’s growth by tracking height and weight in accordance with relevant government guidelines. The position will facilitate STEM education for secondary school-aged children and support remedial education interventions to minimize learning gaps among children of RMG workers. The position will also strengthen life skills among secondary school-aged children, assess children’s developmental progress using CREDI and IDELA tools, and support competency assessments of secondary school students. In addition, the position will assist in conducting studies and assessments, ensure timely procurement of project materials, support day-to-day project operations, and prepare timely, need-based reports and documentation.
