Education:

Academic Qualification

• At least a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university; a Master's degree will be considered an advantage.

• Preferred educational background in Computer Science, Social Science, Statistics, Economics, Anthropology, or related disciplines.

Female candidates holding an Honours degree with relevant experience in food security, beneficiary management, or community engagement are strongly encouraged to apply

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Rohingya response, particularly in food security, livelihoods, and nutrition programmes, will be an added advantage.

• Proficiency in Chittagonian and/or Rohingya dialect, with strong cultural awareness.

• Strong knowledge of the Rohingya refugee context and response coordination

• Sound understanding of community mobilization, beneficiary identification, beneficiary targeting, inclusion, and exclusion processes.

• Working experience with NGOs, development agencies, or humanitarian organizations.

• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, spreadsheets, and data management platforms.

• Practical working experience with KoBo/ODK data collection and Power BI applications.

• Strong coordination, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

The CEIM Associate will optimize beneficiary verification, manage data systems, drive inclusion/exclusion processes, and strengthen community engagement, communication, and referral mechanisms per WFP and RIC-GFA standards.

Key Responsibilities

Beneficiary Identification and Management:

▪ Identify GFA beneficiaries by category using GFA criteria and the WFP active list.

▪ Verify WFP lists and support inclusion or exclusion per approved criteria.

▪ Maintain documentation for all beneficiary decisions.

Lead beneficiary inclusion and Exclusion exercises, including:

▪ Coordinate beneficiary inclusion and exclusion at the field level.

▪ Verify eligibility through community validation.

▪ Ensure decisions meet approved criteria and protection standards.

▪ Maintain records and coordinate with relevant teams.

Database Management:

▪ Continuously monitor and optimize beneficiary databases to enhance data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.

▪ Conduct systematic data cleaning, verification, and reconciliation to align internal records with WFP systems.

▪ Implement robust data protection measures to safeguard beneficiary confidentiality and comply with data protection standards.

Referral pathway and Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) :

▪ Identify beneficiaries needing referrals and link them to appropriate services.

▪ Beneficiaries' feedback and complaints management

▪ Coordinate with relevant teams and partners to facilitate referrals.

▪ Monitor and document referral outcomes to ensure effective follow-up.

Community Engagement and Mobilization:

▪ Lead beneficiary mobilization and sensitization activities at community level

▪ Promote Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM).

▪ Stakeholder and social leaders’ engagement

▪ Capacity-building initiatives for the team members and volunteers

▪ Implement Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) approaches to promote positive behavior and community participation.

Safeguarding, Protection, and Compliance:

▪ Fulfillment of organizational rules & policies, child protection & protection, Gender mainstreaming, and practice of the organization's code of conduct.

▪ Knowledge and respect for core humanitarian principles, UN Charter, and Code of conduct.

Coordination and Reporting:

▪ Work with a team and promote equal opportunity and collaboration with different teams within the Programme

▪ Support and coordination with internal and external teams, especially with WFP

▪ Participate in different coordination meetings and field reviews.

▪ Collaborate with outlet team, project management team and donor colleagues/catchment team
