Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

• At least a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or other relevant subjects

• At least 7 years

Additional Requirement

• Manage payroll for all staff provided by the NGO.

• Manage contract budget, staff advance, Inventory.

• Deduct VAT and TDS from bill and deposited duly to the treasury.

• Verify payments and ensure expenditures are verified by supporting documentation

• Provide periodically financial reports to funding authority and Central Management.

• Have good operational skills of Microsoft (MS word, MS Excel) with software operation.

• Have good operational skills in e-mail correspondence.

• Necessary guidance to Finance officer of the project.

• Visit field office at least two times in a month.

Project/Program: Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) Bangladesh Project

Project Description:

The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) Bangladesh project, implemented by FHI 360 in collaboration with four sub-awards, including the Resource Integration Centre (RIC), is dedicated to strengthening Bangladesh’s capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to emerging disease outbreaks while ensuring continuity of essential health services, including Maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition (MNCHN). Operating in high-risk and border-adjacent districts such as Rajshahi and Chapainawabganj. The project aligns with the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) health security priorities and advances the global normative guidance for early detection and rapid outbreak response.

Experience

• Seven (7) years of practical experience in financial management. Proven skill in financial

compliance management i.e., GAPP, VAT, TAX etc.

• Experience in accounting and budgeting in any large project

• Experience in developing and implementing accounting management information systems

• Familiarity with budgeting and accounting in USAID-funded projects

• Knowledge of procurement and Admin management.

Age Limit:

• Age at most 45 Years (Age limit may be relaxed for highly qualified and experienced candidates)

Duration: Project Period (12 months)
