Experience:
At least 5 years of professional experience in training and communication programs or any other relevant field of NGO/INGO.
At least 4 years of experience in the WASH sector.
Experience developing training manuals and communication materials.
Proven experience in conducting workshops, training sessions, and seminars.
Experience working with host communities and Rohingya communities will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) strategies.
Experience in IEC and BCC material design and communication campaigns.
Strong training facilitation and presentation skills.
Ability to develop communication strategies for diverse communities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bengali and English.
Ability to develop gender-sensitive and culturally appropriate materials.
Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
Purpose: Develop effective Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) and Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) materials and training programs to promote improved WASH practices among host and Rohingya communities.
Job Description:
Review and improve existing IEC, BCC materials, training manuals, and guidelines.
Develop new communication materials to support WASH awareness campaigns.
Ensure communication strategies are gender-sensitive and culturally appropriate.
Coordinate communication activities in project areas including host communities and Rohingya camps.
Develop and deliver communication and training programs for project staff and stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions at field and central levels.
Develop dissemination strategies for effective distribution of communication materials.
Support WASH awareness initiatives through multimedia and print communication tools.
Ensure effective communication systems for WASH initiatives across project areas.
Safeguarding:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation, and team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a critical source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident occurs and encourage others to do so.
