Project Brief:

The "Unlocking Financial Solutions for Youth Enterprise Development" / "Access to Capital and Entrepreneurial Skills for Success (ACCESS)" Project aims to support youth entrepreneurs in Bangladesh by improving their access to financial resources and strengthening their entrepreneurial capabilities. Implemented by BRAC in collaboration with Education Above All, the project focuses on addressing the limited access to conventional financial resources faced by youth (aged 18–35) who aspire to develop or expand their income-generating ventures. Through this initiative, BRAC will extend loans to these young entrepreneurs to improve the economic well-being of both the youths and their households. Additionally, the project will provide financial literacy, entrepreneurship skills training, and mentorship support to young entrepreneurs to enhance their ventures' sustainability. The project end date is 30 September 2026.

Job Purpose:

The person will be responsible for ensuring the effective field-level implementation of project activities by coordinating and managing the field team and maintaining strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The role supports the Head Office in implementing programme interventions, facilitating local-level trainings and meetings, and ensuring timely financial and technical reporting. Additionally, the position promotes and upholds safeguarding standards, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for programme participants, stakeholders, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement field-level execution plans to ensure the timely and smooth delivery of project activities.

  • Manage and coordinate the field team effectively to maintain seamless collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strengthen the team’s capacity by facilitating meetings, trainings, workshops, and orientations at the local level.

  • Support the Head Office in designing and implementing new programme interventions to enhance project outcomes.

  • Execute decisions from the Head Office and prepare accurate financial and technical reports (monthly and quarterly) in close coordination with the team.

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
