  • Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy with a mandatory one-year internship completed at any reputed institution.

  • Ability to take initiative and generate ideas for complex situations.

  • Knowledge of humanitarian architecture, disability inclusion standards, accessibility etc.

  • Diplomacy skills and ability to understand and handle multiple perspectives.

  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment and handle stress with limited supervision.

  • Excellent oral and written English and Bangla and capacity to produce learning documents and products.

  • Experience in humanitarian context/ Cox’s Bazar context to provide rehabilitation services will be added extra value.

  • Effective communication, conflict management and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent team management skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

*** Job Description:

  • Door to door clients/Persons with disabilities screening and assessment of Rohingya and host community people with therapeutic intervention.

  • Preparation of treatment plan and conduct therapy sessions in client home/shelter.

  • Selection of appropriate assistive device for clients.

  • Conduct accessibility assessment, conduct Home/shelter Modification for better accessibility for Person with Disabilities considering universal design.

  • Client referral to other professionals for medical and other need based services and follow up.

  • Documentation of client files and other related information about service delivery.

  • Liaise, coordinate with relevant authorities to plan, organize and follow up of Hearing & Visual out-reach camps.

  • Work with Technical Coordinator for maintaining liaison with CiC Office, and other relevant authorities, attend monthly coordination meeting at CIC office.

  • Developing case studies, lessons learned and representing in appropriate forum.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.

  • Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.

  • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by the supervisor/line manager or CDD management.

CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.

  • CDD is accepting application for the mentioned position under a project named ‘Enhancing Access to Critical Health and Rehabilitation Services for Persons with Disabilities in the Rohingya Camps and Host Communities in Bangladesh’, funded by ASB. The duration of the project is till 31st December 2026.

  • The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed accordingly.
