Job Responsibilities:
∎ QC of raw materials, in-process products and finished goods etc.
∎ Co-ordinate in UL inspections of UL certified Fire Door.
∎ Develop production process to increase productivity.
∎ Develop new products based on end user requirements.
∎ Review customer requirements/complain and make sure they are met.
∎ Co-ordinate in ISO compliance.
∎ Accurate documentation of lab results and technical information.
∎ Monitoring of QC instruments and Calibration of instruments.
∎ Standardize and monitor chemical treatment process of metal production units.
∎ Set standards for quality as well as health and safety.
∎ Make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards.
∎ Implement 5's at work place.
∎ Look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
∎ Training/Counseling of production people about quality.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills Required:
∎ Product testing -need a solid understanding of product testing, along with a firm grasp of best practices for testing product construction and durability against specifications.
∎ Assessment and analysis -requires significant attention to detail, particularly in terms of assessing a product's quality and analyzing recurring manufacturing errors or defects.
∎ Manufacturing processes.
∎ Problem-solving skills -need to be adept problem-solvers, skilled at proposing and implementing solutions to manufacturing defects and recurring quality control issues.
∎ Certification-ISO/UL/TQM/any other QC/QA Certification will get preference.
