Job Summary:

The position is responsible for managing and supervising all transport-related operations, including fleet management, driver supervision, fuel and maintenance control, vendor coordination, and compliance with government transport regulations. The role ensures safe, timely, and cost-efficient transport services for employees, guests, and materials, while maintaining strong relationships with government and regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Transport Operations: Plan and manage daily transport services for employees and guests; ensure timely vehicle allocation, driver supervision, and service discipline.

• Fleet & Maintenance: Oversee maintenance schedules, ensure all vehicle documents (registration, fitness, insurance) are up to date, and maintain roadworthiness.

• Fuel & Cost Control: Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and expenses; prepare reports and implement cost-saving measures.

• Driver Management & Training: Supervise and evaluate drivers; maintain rosters and attendance; conduct regular training on road safety, behavior, and company policies.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce traffic safety rules and internal transport policies; ensure zero violations and promote a safety-first culture.

• Government Liaison: Maintain regular contact with BRTA and relevant authorities; ensure timely renewal of permits, taxes, and licenses; manage compliance and legal documentation.

• Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and rental agencies, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate transport records, reports, and cost summaries for management review.
