Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of vehicles to ensure operational safety and reliability.
Coordinate daily transport operations, schedule drivers, and optimize routes to improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local traffic regulations, transport laws, and company safety policies.
Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, vehicle mileage, maintenance history, and driver logs.
Train, supervise, and evaluate drivers to ensure performance standards are met.
Prepare and submit regular transport reports to management.
Perform any other duties assigned by management as required.
