General Manager (GM)

Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation (BSSF)

Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation (BSSF) is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated professional to join as General Manager (GM) to lead the Federation’s administrative, operational, and development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall day-to-day administration and operations of the Federation.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth and development of shooting sports in Bangladesh.

• Coordinate national and international shooting competitions, training programs, camps, and events.

• Manage relationships with athletes, coaches, clubs, committees, government authorities, sponsors, and international sporting bodies.

• Support athlete development, talent identification, training initiatives, and participation in international competitions.

• Develop sponsorship, partnership, and revenue-generation opportunities for the Federation.

• Oversee budgeting, procurement, facilities, logistics, and administrative activities.

• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, governance, and compliance with Federation policies and applicable regulations.

• Lead and supervise Federation staff and ensure effective performance and accountability.

• Represent the Federation professionally in meetings, events, and relevant national and international forums.

• Prepare regular operational and performance reports for the Federation’s management/Executive Committee.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the appropriate authority.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a relevant discipline.

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in sports administration, federation management, event management, or a comparable leadership role.

• Experience working with a sports federation, national sports organization, government/semi-government organization, or large organization will be preferred.

• Strong knowledge of sports administration, event coordination, stakeholder management, and organizational operations.

• Experience in sponsorship development, partnership management, and fundraising will be an advantage.
