Manager, Public Relations

Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation (BSSF)

Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation (BSSF) is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professional to lead the Federation’s public relations, media communications, brand visibility, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Federation’s public relations and communication strategies.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with print, electronic, digital, and sports media.

• Manage press releases, media briefings, interviews, press conferences, and other media activities.

• Promote BSSF athletes, achievements, competitions, training programs, and organizational initiatives.

• Manage and strengthen the Federation’s presence across social media and digital platforms.

• Coordinate photography, videography, interviews, athlete stories, and promotional content.

• Prepare official statements, speeches, press notes, newsletters, and other communication materials.

• Coordinate media coverage of national and international shooting competitions and events.

• Manage crisis communication and ensure timely and appropriate responses to media-related matters.

• Develop communication materials for sponsors, partners, government authorities, and other stakeholders.

• Strengthen the public image, reputation, and visibility of BSSF and its athletes.

• Coordinate with sponsors, media partners, event organizers, and relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor media coverage and prepare regular PR and communication performance reports.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the appropriate authority.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, or a similar role.

• Experience in sports PR, sports media, event management, or working with a sports organization will be highly preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English.

• Strong media relations, networking, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent content writing, storytelling, and presentation abilities.

• Strong knowledge of digital media and social media platforms.

• Strong event management and communication skills.

• Ability to manage sensitive communication and public relations matters professionally.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage communication during high-profile events or competitions.
