Responsibilities & Context:
To develop and implement effective public relations and communication strategies.
To build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media organizations, government representatives, clients and other stakeholders.
To prepare press releases, media statements, speeches, newsletters and corporate communications.
To coordinate press conferences, media briefings, corporate events, and public engagements.
To monitor media coverage and manage the organization's public image and reputation.
To handle media inquiries and coordinate appropriate responses.
To develop communication materials for social media, websites and other communication channels.
To identify potential PR risks and develop appropriate crisis communication strategies.
To represent the organization at meetings, events, seminars and public forums when required.
To work closely with HR, Marketing, Management and other departments to ensure consistent corporate messaging.
To prepare regular PR and media activity reports for senior management.
