Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nautical Science

Graduates from other disciplines with relevant experience in the maritime industry may also be considered.

Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC, and other relevant maritime conventions and codes essential.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 25 to 35 years

Good knowledge of maritime regulatory requirements, conventions, codes, and compliance procedures. Ability to work independently and handle multiple compliance-related activities efficiently.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with excellent skills in documentation, data management, reporting, and presentation.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the maritime industry is preferred.



Responsibilities & Context:

Maintain and regularly update the vessel certification status.

Maintain and update E-SMS, including amendments, revisions, and upgrades, as instructed by the DPA.

Maintain proper records and provide assistance during: Vessel internal and external audits, Flag State Inspections (FSI), Port State Control (PSC) inspections, Superintendent visits, Terminal inspections, Office audits.

Follow up on audit and inspection findings and ensure timely submission and closure of evidence received from the Master/Shipboard Management, KML office & DPA.

Maintain relevant files and records related to ISM, ISPS, MLC, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other applicable conventions and codes. Maintain office certificates, documentation, and an effective filing system.

Maintain and update QMP (Quality Management Planning) and related documentation.

Liaise and communicate effectively with Class, MMO, Flag/Relevant Authorities, and other maritime stakeholders as required. Attend vessel visits during audits, inspections, and other operational requirements when necessary.

Provide assistance in relevant marine and manning matters, including QMP and other related activities.

Assist Marine &Manning as required.

As Assigned by Management/Department which may change time to time.
