A leading and growing textile and apparel manufacturing group with multiple manufacturing and business operations is looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead Group Security & Safety Operations.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust Group-wide security and safety framework, ensuring the safety of employees, assets, facilities and business operations across all factories and projects. The position will also oversee the Security Guard Force and Fire Safety functions of all factories, as well as operations of the Panam Logistics Project.
This is a Group-level leadership position requiring strong command, operational discipline, crisis-management capability and the ability to coordinate effectively with factory management, government agencies, law-enforcement authorities and other external stakeholders.
Lead and oversee Security & Safety operations across the entire Group, including all factories and business projects.
Develop, implement and continuously improve Group Security & Safety policies, procedures, SOPs and emergency response protocols.
Take overall responsibility for the deployment, discipline, performance and effectiveness of security personnel/guard forces across all factories.
Supervise and coordinate the Fire Safety Department, ensuring proper fire prevention, preparedness, emergency response and evacuation systems.
Ensure regular security and fire safety inspections, risk assessments, drills, training and corrective actions across all locations.
Identify potential security, safety and operational risks and develop appropriate preventive and contingency measures.
Lead the Panam Logistics Project, including movement of vehicles, goods, personnel and critical assets.
Ensure appropriate security arrangements for foreign visitors, expatriates, senior management and important business visitors.
Coordinate security arrangements during VIP visits, management movements, major events, emergencies and high-risk situations.
Establish effective systems for incident reporting, investigation, documentation and corrective/preventive action.
Maintain strong coordination with Police, Fire Service, RAB, local administration and other relevant government/law-enforcement authorities whenever required.
Handle and coordinate responses to security incidents, theft, unauthorized access, conflict, unrest, emergencies and other critical situations.
Monitor security vulnerabilities across factories and recommend improvements in CCTV, access control, perimeter security, visitor management and other security systems.
Ensure proper management of gate security, vehicle movement, employee/visitor entry-exit and material movement control.
Conduct periodic audits of security and safety practices across all Group locations and submit management reports with recommendations.
Develop the capability of security and safety teams through training, drills, briefing and performance monitoring.
Work closely with HR, Administration, Compliance, Factory Management, Logistics and other functional heads to ensure an integrated approach to security and safety.
Support management in managing crisis situations, industrial disturbances, natural disasters, fire emergencies and other unforeseen events.
Ensure that all security and safety operations are conducted with professionalism, discipline, confidentiality and respect for organizational policies.
