Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reviews purchase orders for completeness.
∎ Places orders to vendors, checks status of orders, resolves order problems, and reviews and expedites receiving reports.
∎ Monitor approved orders for quality, delivery and accuracy of vendor invoices.
∎ Receive assigned user requisitions and convert to bid requests.
∎ Prepare Purchase Orders for review and approvals.
∎ Resolve discrepancies, variances for review and approval.
∎ Inspect goods delivered with attention to packaging, specification, quantity and quality.
∎ Consult regularly with department Heads on new products and direct purchases.
∎ Direct the purchase requisition process through typing requisitions, creating item numbers, verifying product specifications, and communicating delivery schedule.
∎ Assist with the supplier on-boarding process.
∎ Insure purchase orders are delivered on schedule.
∎ Follows the strategic purchasing goals of the hotel.
∎ Reviewing and processing requisitions to ensure timely order submission
∎ Negotiating costs, delivery schedules and contract terms.
∎ Maintain and update vendor database and contact information
∎ Other job responsibilities may be assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience with Procure to Pay process preferred.
∎ Experience in Accounts Payable or Purchasing preferred.
∎ Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel proficiency.
∎ Strong verbal, written, and communication skills that help with collaboration across cross-functional teams.
