∎ Minimum training on Training of Trainers (TOT), Participatory Assessment on Disaster Risk, Leadership, Communication, Monitoring and Evaluation, Disaster Management, TRACK, Share point.
∎ Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position in a reputable organization.
∎ Must have Training/Teaching/Counseling Skills, Management & Supervision skills, independently office correspondence skills, report writing skills, Communication & Networking skills, Computer operating skills, Interpersonal skills, PowerPoint Presentation and Net surfing skill.
∎ Model and demonstrate effective Christian leadership and able to lead daily devotions and apply scripture discern God’s direction in planning and decision making (Lead Like Jesus practiced).
∎ Demonstrated value-guided relational success with government, donors and various stakeholders
∎ Understands, articulates and integrates World Concern’s transformational development approach into life and all WC program and operational activities; partners with Church and Christian organizations in Bangladesh and region.
∎ Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team through a systematic, participative and clear change management process.
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla
∎ Able to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overall Planning, Implementing, Monitoring, Supervision and Managing PARIBARTAN Project.
∎ Designing the program activities and planning for the implementation, building awareness and capacity of the community people through training and awareness sessions to reduce vulnerability. Arranging mitigation, relief and rehabilitation programs. Disaster risk Reduction, promoting alternative livelihood.
∎ Developing and maintaining relationships and communication with funding partners and other stakeholders.
∎ Preparing concept notes, theory of change, project proposals & budget as per funding partner required format.
∎ Ensure staff performance evaluation and contribute to strategy planning.
∎ Providing support to the program staff for all necessary logistic and administrative matters and conducting training workshops and seminars.
∎ In close cooperation and coordination with the Country Director, Program & Operations Manager, Finance Section & HR and Administrative department to consultant for the smooth running of the Program.
∎ Attend management Committee Meetings, other meetings, seminars and workshops
∎ Organize and facilitate training/workshops on Disaster Management & Climate Change Adaptation.
∎ Develop modules/materials to organize training and workshops as needed and provide advocacy to the project participants.
∎ Develop a program implementation plan.
∎ Operate emergency relief and rehabilitation activities.
∎ Prepare monthly, half-yearly, annual and other periodic reports and case studies for funding partners and World Concerns.
∎ Help communities to conduct CRA/PADR and develop RRAP.
∎ Upload & update the information to the TRACK system and World Concern SharePoint
∎ Responsible for networking with government and other NGOs to build up rapport & relationships in the field of disaster preparedness and risk reduction activities.
∎ Develop indicators for measuring the impact on the lives of the beneficiaries and their families in the mid-term and annual reports.
∎ Develop PARIBARTAN Project staff for future leadership and taking more responsibilities.
∎ Ensuring that all core values are implemented effectively in all PARIBARTAN staff.
∎ Organize funding partners, government and World Concern representatives visit in the working location.
∎ Have the mentality to frequent travel to the country office and other places as per the need.
∎ Candidate must have the valid motorcycle driving license and willing to drive motorcycle.
∎ Other duties as may be assigned by the Program & Operations Manager or Senior Management.

World Concern in Bangladesh is searching an energetic, smart & potential candidate for the following key position of ‘Program Manager’ for PARIBARTAN Project for Kalapara Upazila under Potuakhali District. Detail of Job Description and other necessary requirements for the position is described as below:
∎ Location : Based at Kolapara Upazila under Potuakhali District.
∎ Accountable to : Program & Operations Manager
∎ Job Summary : Responsible to the enhancement of skill and capacity of the community people under working areas of the PARIBARTAN Project and promote their knowledge on Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Adaptation, Rehabilitation, Gender and Alternative Livelihoods well as provide leadership, direction and motivation to the field Officers for effectively achieving objectives of the program, developing their knowledge and skill, providing all technical support.
∎ Responsibilities:
