Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support development programmes in creating MEAL tools aligned with BRAC Strategy and Results Framework.
∎ Contribute to strategic planning for the MEAL Department and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
∎ Provide technical support for annual evaluations and develop result measurement systems.
∎ Identify annual research agendas in line with organisational priorities.
∎ Ensure BRAC Result Framework indicators are integrated into programme MEAL frameworks and new project designs.
∎ Assist in devising and implementing MEAL work plans, and refine methodologies for data validation and assessments.
∎ Conduct annual data validation and studies on implementation quality, ensuring consistent and outcome-focused data analysis.
∎ Share actionable monitoring reports, advocate for data-driven decision-making, and maintain regular follow-ups and coordination with programmes and departments.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ The Senior Manager will lead the monitoring, evaluation, and research functions for BRAC's development programmes within the MEAL Department. This role involves overseeing M&E tools and methodologies, conducting analyses, finalising reports, and providing technical guidance for evaluations and research. The Senior Manager will also support programme design with MEAL inputs, build capacity on result measurement, manage work plans and budgets, and facilitate departmental audits.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
