∎ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in climate change program.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The intersection of health and climate change presents urgent challenges and opportunities. The Deputy Director for Health and Climate Change will have knowledge on principles and practices of climate change planning, project management and coordinating interdisciplinary efforts.
∎ • Develop funding and grant Proposals:
∎ - Tracking donor requirements and ensure compliance with funding guidelines
∎ - Developing materials and outreach/social media campaigns focused on climate change
∎ • Responsible for coordination of all projects and activities related to climate change
∎ • Prepare planning, analysis ad writing reports including findings and recommendation
∎ • Manage multiple staff positions
∎ • Collaborating with government agencies, local NGOs and INGOs healthcare providers and community organizations to implement climate initiatives.
∎ • Excellent written, verbal and presentation slides.
