∎ Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in agriculture and livestock related activities with market and value chain development, diversified crop cultivation, demonstrations, producer groups, institutional development, social issues, person with disabilities, gender and small entrepreneurship development
∎ Strong interpersonal communication skills to coordinate and collaborate the activity
∎ Good facilitation and presentation skills to generate reports
∎ Knowledge on climate-resilient agriculture, livestock, and livelihood-related activities
∎ Familiar with market and value chain development, crop diversification, Social issues and gender considerations
∎ Understanding of disaster management, climate change, and adaptation strategies.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead project activities in designated upazilas, ensuring successful delivery of IGA training, providing hands-on support to frontline staff to enhance field staff capacity in agriculture and food security, and emphasizing quality program implementation.
∎ Establish market access for small farm producers by creating collection centers and linking them with input/output markets, private sector enterprises, and market channels in Haor and IP content areas.
∎ Oversee program quality, technology/practices dissemination, financial management, and the work of field staff to ensure effective implementation.
∎ Provide technical guidance to the field team regarding crop production, livestock management, IGAs, and implementation of agricultural and climate change interventions
∎ Support Upazila, Area, and District Managers, as well as Programme Organisers (POs), with supervision, monitoring, and participant follow-up.
∎ Liaise with government bodies (DAE, DLS, BADC etc.), local government, NGOs, private enterprises, and project participants to coordinate meetings, workshops, and community mobilization efforts.
∎ Collaborate with BRAC personnel, relevant programs, stakeholders, contractors, and NGOs as necessary.
∎ Plan and budget activities according to the Annual Operational Plan (AOP) targets and timelines.
∎ Ensure accurate project reporting, documentation of lessons learned, and the use of MIS, M&E, and case studies.

∎ Job Purpose
∎ The person will be responsible for overseeing field-level project activities, building the capacity of Programme Organizers, and ensuring high-quality interventions to improve livelihoods by mentoring community members on entrepreneurial skills and market access development. He/She will also provide daily oversight, conduct staff training, and prepare monthly reports for the Technical Coordinator.
∎ Key Responsibilities

Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
