Purpose of the Position
The Field Facilitator will be responsible for implementing RMNCAH project activities at the community level to improve reproductive, maternal, and newborn, child and adolescent health outcomes. The position focuses on community engagement, awareness raising, service linkage, and reporting in close coordination with the Union Supervisor and project team.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Implementation
Facilitate community-based RMNCAH activities including awareness sessions on maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health.
Conduct household visits to identify pregnant women, newborns, adolescents, and vulnerable families.
Support ANC, PNC, immunization, nutrition, family planning and adolescent health interventions.
Organize and facilitate mothers’ group meetings, adolescent group sessions and community dialogues.
Community Mobilization & Referral
Promote timely referral of pregnant women, newborns and sick children to appropriate health facilities.
Coordinate with Community Health Care Providers, local health facilities and community leaders.
Support follow-up of referred cases to ensure service utilization.
Data Collection & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of field activities, beneficiaries and referrals.
Submit regular daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Union Supervisor.
Support monitoring activities, surveys and assessments as required.
Coordination & Compliance
Work closely with Union Supervisor, Deputy Project Coordinator and project staff.
Ensure safeguarding, gender equality and inclusion principles are followed in all activities.
Maintain confidentiality, ethical conduct and accountability at all times.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Public Health, Development Studies or relevant field (preferred).
At least 1–2 years of experience in community-based health or development projects.
Basic understanding of RMNCAH concepts is an advantage.
Experience working with women, adolescents and community groups.
