Reporting Lines
The Data Enumerator(s) (SC1) will support field data collection activities under the direct supervision of the Data Enumerators Supervisor and the overall guidance of the Natural Resources Socioeconomic Specialist.
Technical Focus
The position focuses on supporting field data collection activities while ensuring strict adherence to project protocols and quality standards. The incumbent will be responsible for accurately gathering both qualitative and quantitative data, maintaining organized field records, and ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timely submission of all data and reports under the supervision of the Data Enumerators Supervisor.
Tasks and responsibilities
Assist in the emergency monitoring system related to the impacts of various shocks on food supply, agricultural livelihoods, and food security in Bangladesh, but not limited, to:
Attend and actively participate in the training session prior to fieldwork.
Organizing and conducting community consultations
Gathering baseline or preliminary information
Facilitating and/or supporting trainings, capacity-building activities, learning events, etc.
Monitoring project activities through regular data collection and preparing periodic reports
Contributing to the development of inputs, materials, and equipment distribution plans
Submit completed questionnaires and field notes as instructed.
Collect agricultural market information, when necessary and as directed
Monitor and collect qualitative and quantitative data from project activities, including post-distribution and post-training data and disaster impacts
Inform beneficiaries of the AAP (Accountability to the Affected People) message and feedback mechanism, and ensure all complaints from beneficiaries are recorded, resolved, and adequate feedback is provided in a timely manner
Perform other related activities as required
