∎ Job Summary
∎ PROTTYASHI, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox's Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement project in the Rohingya community of Cox’s Bazar with the funding of International Organization of Migration (IOM) to promote self-reliance of the Rohingya population. PROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Center Supervisor for the “Promoting Self-Reliance and Skill Development Activities for the Rohingya Refugees” Project.
∎ Reporting
∎ Center Supervisor will report to Project Coordinator. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
∎ Key Responsibilities
∎ • Assist in identifying and selecting beneficiaries of the project following the beneficiary selection criteria.
∎ • Conduct baseline survey in the targeted Rohingya communities to identify beneficiaries as per the project objectives and outcomes.
∎ • Create profile of the beneficiaries including their present situation and expected situation.
∎ • Create batches of the beneficiaries for the arrangement of the skill training in the targeted camp.
∎ • Mobilize the project beneficiaries to adopt the project deliveries through active participation.
∎ • Organize selected Rohingya beneficiaries for timely participation in the skill training sessions.
∎ • Support distribution of the input supports to the graduated beneficiaries on self-employment generation.
∎ • Support the beneficiaries to develop self-employment initiative with the input supports provided and manufacturing of the products at the camp level.
∎ • Ensure marketing of the products of participants through maintaining communication with market actors in the camp settings.
∎ • Supervise production initiatives of the project beneficiaries in the training center.
∎ • Ensure tracking income generation of the beneficiaries.
∎ • Organize product exhibitions, linkage building to promote products of the beneficiaries at the targeted camp.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary and benefits: Monthly Gross Salary will be 45,000 BDT contributory provident fund and regular traveling and communication bill.
