Unnayan Sangha (US) has been implementing the Gender Inclusive Market System for Improved Nutrition (GESMIN) Project to strengthen community resilience through nutrition-sensitive agriculture, gender empowerment, and livelihood development. We are inviting applications from qualified candidates for the following position:

Contract duration: Initially 6 Month, renewable based on performance and project continuation.
Position Purpose
The Sub-District Coordinator will ensure overall implementation of project activities at the Upazila level, coordinate with local administration and provide timely updates to the core project team. The role involves close community engagement to deliver nutrition-sensitive agricultural value chain development, participatory monitoring and capacity building of project staff and primary stakeholder of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation of nutrition-sensitive agriculture (NSA) value chains to improve productivity, consumption and income of smallholder farmers.
Provide overall project management at the sub-district level, resolve challenges and ensure timely reporting.
Establish participatory monitoring and evaluation systems.
Supervise and build the capacity of the Upazila project team.
Network and maintain linkages with consortium members, local government, and World Vision offices.
Facilitate gender relations, women’s empowerment, and disaster resilience in agricultural practices.
Conduct frequent field visits and prepare qualitative reports using PLA tools and techniques.
Salary Range: 70000.00 (Seventy Thousand Tak Only and other organizational and Project Policy)
