Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Color Development Lab Manager/Senior Manager for our dyeing factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in color matching, dye formulation, lab-to-bulk correlation, and team management. This role is critical in ensuring color accuracy, consistency, and quality across all dyeing processes.
Manage and oversee all operations of the Color Lab, ensuring accurate color matching and lab dip preparation
Develop and approve lab dips as per buyer requirements and production timelines
Formulate dye recipes based on fabric types, shades, and dyeing methods
Ensure effective lab-to-bulk dye recipe correlation and troubleshoot any mismatches
Maintain accurate records of all lab dips, formulations, and approvals
Supervise and train lab technicians and colorists to maintain quality standards
Coordinate with dyeing, R&D, and QA teams to meet production and quality targets
Communicate with the merchandising and buyer teams for color submissions and approvals
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and chemical handling regulations
Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance lab efficiency and reduce rework
