Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
Professional certification in ISO 14001 Lead Auditor / EMS will be highly preferred.
Strong understanding of Bangladesh environmental rules, DoE regulations, and compliance processes.
Experience in handling buyer audits and third-party certifications.
Ability to prepare and present reports to senior management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willingness to visit factory floors and field locations regularly.

Develop, implement, and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS) in compliance with ISO 14001 and other relevant standards.
Ensure compliance with local environmental laws, buyer requirements, and international regulations.
Prepare and maintain all EMS-related documentation, procedures, records, and reports.
Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and gap analysis for environmental compliance.
Lead external audits and buyer compliance assessments related to environment and sustainability.
Monitor factory environmental performance including waste management, effluent treatment, energy consumption, water usage, and chemical management.
Coordinate with ETP, utility, engineering, production, and compliance teams to ensure environmental control.
Implement sustainability initiatives (carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency, water conservation, etc.).
Provide training and awareness programs for employees on environmental policies and best practices.
Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual EMS performance reports for management.
Liaise with government authorities, certification bodies, and buyers on environmental issues.
