Responsibilities & Context:
• Assist in managing QC activities in the finishing department
• Monitor finishing processes (painting, coating, polishing, assembly, packaging, etc.) to ensure quality compliance
• Conduct and supervise final inspections of finished products
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, drawings, and customer specifications
• Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformities
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Coordinate with production, finishing, and packaging teams to resolve quality issues
• Ensure proper handling and segregation of non-conforming products
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and quality reports
• Support internal and external quality audits
• Ensure inspection tools and measuring equipment are properly used and maintained
• Assist in training QC inspectors and finishing staff on quality requirements
• Monitor rework and rejection trends and report findings to management
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
