Responsibilities & Context:
The Store Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of all materials—from receiving and quality inspection to production issuance and post-shipment reconciliation. Key focus areas include software accuracy, team administration, and cross-departmental reporting.
To oversee and manage overall store operations covering general items, fabrics, and accessories.
To receive fabrics, accessories, and general items as per approved PO, style, buyer requirement, challan, and packing list.
To inspect goods item-wise and quality-wise, segregate rejected materials, and ensure timely return and replacement.
To maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper ERP/software posting of all receipts, issues, returns, and deliveries.
To issue materials to production, cutting floor, sampling section, and subcontract units as per approved production order and plan.
To monitor in-house material status and report shortages or issues to merchandisers and management before production start.
To coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Planning, Commercial, CNF, and Supply Chain for smooth material flow.
To follow up subcontracted goods and ensure timely return, adjustment, and reporting.
To maintain in-out registers, challans (returnable & non-returnable), and style-wise / PO-wise documentation for audit and compliance.
To maintain proper storage and control of fabrics, pocketing, lining, contrast, and accessories as per buyer, style, and color.
To prepare and submit shipment-wise closing summaries and monthly export/shipment status reports.
To supervise store staff and ensure effective store administration, safety, and housekeeping.
To ensure compliance with company policies, buyer requirements, audit standards, and perform any task assigned by the management.
