  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 15–20 years of experience in garments manufacturing, with at least 5–8 years in a senior leadership/GM role

  • Strong experience in woven garments production is mandatory

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale factory operations

  • Excellent knowledge of production planning, IE, and line balancing

  • In-depth understanding of compliance standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, etc.)



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Factory General Manager to lead overall factory operations in our woven garments manufacturing facility. The GM will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing resources, and ensuring compliance with EPZ and international buyer requirements. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and deep knowledge of garment manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Oversee end-to-end factory operations including production, quality, compliance, maintenance, and administration

·       Develop and implement production plans to meet shipment deadlines and buyer requirements

·       Ensure maximum efficiency and productivity across all departments

·       Maintain strict quality control standards in line with buyer expectations

·       Lead and manage department heads (Production, QA, HR, Compliance, IE, Maintenance, etc.)

·       Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to improve performance

·       Ensure compliance with EPZ regulations, labor laws, and international compliance standards (e.g., social, safety, environmental)

·       Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, efficiency, cost reduction)

·       Manage factory budgets, cost control, and profitability

·       Ensure workplace safety and a healthy working environment

·       Handle buyer visits, audits, and communications professionally

·       Resolve operational challenges and implement effective solutions

·       Develop and mentor team members to build a strong leadership pipeline
