Experience:

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

• Diploma holders with strong practical experience may be considered.

• Training in Garments Cutting, Marker Planning, CAD, or Lean Manufacturing preferred.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

• Experience in export-oriented RMG factory preferred.

• Strong knowledge of garments cutting operations and fabric behavior.

• Expertise in marker efficiency and fabric consumption control.

• Knowledge of CAD/marker systems and cutting machinery.

• Leadership and team management capability.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Understanding of buyer quality standards and production flow.

• Data analysis and reporting skills (MIS/Excel).

• Communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end cutting operations for knit garments production.

• Ensure proper fabric relaxation, spreading, and cutting processes.

• Monitor marker efficiency and fabric utilization to minimize wastage.

• Ensure accurate cutting as per approved marker and buyer specifications.

• Supervise numbering, bundling, panel checking, and issue processes.

• Coordinate with Planning, IE, Production, and Quality teams for smooth workflow.

• Ensure timely cutting input to sewing lines as per production plan.

• Monitor cutting KPIs such as cut-to-ship ratio, rejection rate, and productivity.

• Identify and resolve cutting-related issues such as shade variation, panel mismatch, and fabric defects.

• Ensure proper handling and segregation of fabric rolls and cut panels.

• Optimize manpower and machine utilization in cutting.

• Ensure preventive maintenance and proper utilization of cutting machines/equipment.

• Maintain cutting reports, fabric consumption records, and MIS.

• Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards and operational SOPs.

• Implement lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen) for process improvement.

• Ensure workplace discipline, safety, and housekeeping within cutting floor.
