Experience:

• 3 to 6 years

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or relevant field

• Age 30 to 40 years

Experience in IE preferably in print & embroidery section of garments industry

Conduct time and motion studies for print and embroidery operations

Develop standard minute values (SMV) for different processes

Analyze workflow and recommend improved methods to reduce waste and increase efficiency

Calculate machine and manpower capacity for printing and embroidery units

Perform line balancing to ensure smooth workflow and minimize bottlenecks

Plan layout improvements for better space utilization

Monitor daily production performance vs targets

Analyze efficiency, utilization, and downtime

Identify root causes of low productivity and implement corrective actions

Support costing team with accurate SMV and process data

Evaluate cost implications of different print/embroidery techniques

Help optimize cost per piece

Track KPIs such as efficiency %, DHU (Defects per Hundred Units), and productivity

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly IE reports

Present findings to management

Implement lean tools (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction)

Reduce non-value-added activities

Improve turnaround time (TAT)

Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams

Train supervisors/operators on best practices and efficiency improvement
