Role Overview

This role will focus on building and managing relationships with local Home Textile suppliers, supporting sourcing & procurement activities, Quality Assurance, Buyer communication, On-time shipment, and contributing to the smooth operation of the trading related activities. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in an independent, multicultural environment and has a strong interest in working in the Japanese culture.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with local Home-Tex suppliers.

• Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure stable procurement operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Communicate effectively with foreign buyers to understand product quality requirements and customer expectations.

• Support negotiations and adjustments of commercial terms, including pricing, MOQ, delivery schedules, and related conditions.

• Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, and procurement-related documentation.

• Ensure quality assurance of samples and monitor timely shipment execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in new supplier development or related merchandising / sourcing roles.

• English: Business level (fluent in emails, meetings, and external coordination).

• Previous experience working in a Japanese company (in Bangladesh or abroad).
