Company Overview

A Narayanganj-based (BSCIC Industrial Area) knit garments manufacturing company with a workforce of approximately 100 - 500 employees. The factory specializes in knit apparel manufacturing with core functions including knitting, dyeing, sewing, and fabric-related operations.

Role Overview

The Factory GM will be responsible for leading the overall factory operations and ensuring seamless coordination across all departments. This role requires an industry expert with strong technical and operational expertise in knit garments who can independently manage the factory, optimize production efficiency, maintain quality standards, and ensure effective coordination among Production, Quality, Maintenance, Merchandising, Store, HR & Administration, Compliance, and other support functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall factory operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day management of all departments.

• Manage production planning and execution across Knitting, Dyeing, Sewing, and other related operations.

• Supervise yarn procurement and coordinate with the Fabric Department to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Ensure effective coordination among Production, Quality, Maintenance, Merchandising, Store, HR & Administration, Compliance, and other support functions.

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and enhance factory performance.

• Manage workforce planning, employee discipline, and industrial relations while maintaining a positive working environment.

• Handle worker unions and resolve labor-related issues in compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law and company policies.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, social, and regulatory requirements.
