Additional Requirements:
  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • Sound knowledge on process & procedures of certification of BWB, BRAC, WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, C-TPAT, etc.

  • Strong knowledge in Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 and the recent amendments.

  • Highly observant and able to make timely decisions.

  • Strong negotiation and convincing skills, and the capability to address critical issues with the concerned parties.

  • Should be prompt with strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership qualities.

  • Able to work under pressure when needed.



Responsibilities & Context:

We are a 100% Export-oriented garments manufacturing company. We are looking for a dynamic candidate for the “Senior Manager - HR” position for our factory. The candidate must oversee all HR functions and ensure 100% compliance with the Bangladesh Labor Act 2006, and follow up on overall factory operations.

  • Take full responsibility for Factory HR Operations with the team.

  • Develop and modify policies that are set up for the organization & implement them in an effective way as required by the buyer’s Code of Conduct/Labor Law.

  • Guide Management and Employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating the company’s service rules, policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.

  • Monitor recruitment, training, counseling, orientation programs & design job descriptions efficiently.

  • Monitor the performance metrics of the workers and staff, and conduct timely and fair performance appraisals and promotions.

  • Check salary sheets, wages, benefits, pay & allowances, settlement payments of employees, following the labor law and company practices.

  • Ensure team members are properly handling floor issues and helping them with critical complaints and disciplinary action procedures.

  • Prepare, organize & manage factory audits as per the buyer’s social, ethical, and environmental requirements. Keep the factory always ready to face unannounced audits with proper audit documents.

  • Prepare annual training calendar; ensure training is conducted as per schedule & effectiveness with proper documentation/register as demanded by the buyer’s Code of Conduct.

  • Handle the legal issues related to company affairs as well as Labor Law.

  • Perform other tasks or assignments provided by the management.
