Responsibilities & Context:
  • Assess incoming orders based on stitching and processing capacity, ensuring that production schedules align with business and customer requirements.

  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to manage timelines for order fulfillment while maintaining quality standards.

  • Develop and execute detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for stitching and processing departments to meet production targets.

  • Coordinate between the stitching and processing departments to ensure smooth transitions and avoid production bottlenecks or delays.

  • Adjust production schedules as necessary in response to changes in orders, resources, or unforeseen delays.

  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, packaging, and accessories needed for production.

  • Control the issuance of materials by analyzing monthly production requirements, preventing over-issuance and minimizing waste.

  • Monitor leftover goods and materials, ensuring they are used effectively to reduce waste and costs.

  • Prepare and manage production budgets for both stitching and processing departments, ensuring alignment with overall sales forecasts.

  • Analyze variances between actual production costs and budgets, identifying areas for cost-saving measures.

  • Continuously evaluate production processes, focusing on increasing efficiency, reducing downtime, and improving product quality in both stitching and processing.

  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques and process improvements to streamline production workflows and increase overall productivity.

  • Ensure that all production activities comply with industry standards and company policies, including quality control measures in the stitching and processing stages.

  • Oversee and optimize the utilization of machinery, manpower, and materials in both stitching and processing departments.

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Actively participate in Inventory Review Committee (IRC) meetings to review stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished terry towels.

  • Work closely with the Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Production teams to ensure effective communication and coordination between all stakeholders involved in production.

  • Prepare regular reports on production performance, efficiency, inventory levels, and budget adherence for senior management.
