Responsibilities & Context:

Responsible for all activities from cutting to shipment and Coordination with cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, maintenance, store, IE & Planning team for smooth operation of production.
Acknowledgment of the order quantity in advance for making the production plan and to liaise with the Management and giving necessary directives to the Production Manager of the unit regarding the production plan.
Manage & Direct activities congenial to ensure achievement of production targets and guide production teams to attain targets for the respective unit within given time-frame.
To give necessary directives to the Production/Sample team to make a sample of a particular buyer in order to get the approval of mass production.
Direct and control the day-to-day operations of the production department ensuring that the production plan is adhered to by customer requirement.
Direct and control the improvement of production processes & reduce all types of wastage by proper planning.
Identify production line blockages and take necessary steps to solve.
Ensure daily, weekly & monthly production as per planning.
To make necessary arrangements of training for the subordinates in order to increase production capability by following modern production procedures.
Monitor, control and utilization of man, machine & material for optimum productivity.
Maintain quality product for each style and no compromise with quality at everywhere (ensure shipment with zero defects).
Supervise production floor to ensure highest level of productivity.
Establish effective communication with cutting and finishing & Quality team responsible personnel to fulfill the order quantity and avoid any short shipment.
To ensure proper planning to assure smooth operation within the team.
Arrangement of briefing, training, coordinating, controlling, and taking the timely decision.
To take necessary measures with the Admin, HR & Compliance Dept. in order to uphold human rights and development of human resources.
Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
Monitor report on production, maintenance, manpower, quality, safety, consumption, monthly stock, and production cost.
Must have experience to handle minimum 15 Lines Knit Garments.
Carry out any other jobs as assigned time to time.
