• Strong research and analytical skills.

• Creative mindset with commercial awareness.

• Ability to monitor and control multiple developments simultaneously.

• Proactive and detail-oriented approach.

• Strong understanding of sample room operations and garment construction.

• Knowledge of fashion trends and new material development.

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Research new garment styles, fabrics, washes, trims, and finishes

• Develop innovative and market-relevant products based on buyer and market trends

• Coordinate with factories and in-house sample rooms for new product development samples only

• Monitor sample sections to ensure correct sample execution, quality, and timely completion

• Follow up with sample teams to ensure development samples meet design and technical requirements

• Source new fabrics, trims, and accessories for product innovation

• Analyze buyer feedback and market demand for continuous product improvement

• Support preliminary costing to ensure commercial feasibility of new developments

• Maintain development research data, mood boards, and sample records
