Experience:

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

• Training in Quality Assurance, Garments Quality Control, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma preferred.

• Strong knowledge of garments cutting quality and fabric inspection processes.

• Understanding of buyer quality standards and audit requirements.

• Expertise in defect analysis and root cause identification.

• Knowledge of quality tools, reporting, and MIS systems.

• Communication and cross-functional coordination capability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all cutting quality assurance activities within the production process.

• Ensure fabric inspection, shade segregation, and panel checking are conducted properly.

• Monitor cutting quality processes including spreading, cutting accuracy, numbering, and bundling.

• Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards, specifications, and approved markers.

• Identify and prevent cutting-related defects such as panel mismatch, shade variation, size variation, and fabric defects.

• Conduct in-line and end-line quality inspections within cutting operations.

• Monitor cutting quality KPIs including DHU, rejection rate, and defect trends.

• Coordinate with Production, IE, CAD, Planning, and MCD teams for quality improvement initiatives.

• Analyze root causes of cutting defects and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

• Ensure proper maintenance of cutting quality reports, audit records, and MIS.

• Support fabric utilization and quality optimization initiatives.

• Lead buyer audits, internal audits, and quality compliance assessments related to cutting section.

• Train and develop quality inspectors and cutting quality team members.

• Ensure implementation of SOPs, quality standards, and process controls.

• Monitor workplace discipline, safety, and 5S practices within cutting quality section.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality enhancement and defect reduction.
