Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead and manage the entire HR operations of the factory, ensuring alignment with corporate HR policies and business goals.

  • Drive strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, and manpower budgeting in coordination with different department heads.

  • Oversee employee life cycle management – on boarding to exit – ensuring compliance with labor laws and factory regulations.

  • Ensure proper implementation of performance management systems (PMS), KPIs, and employee evaluation frameworks.

  • Lead employee engagement, retention initiatives, and grievance handling to foster a productive and compliant workplace.

  • Supervise payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and HRIS data accuracy in collaboration with accounts and compliance teams.

  • Maintain strong liaison with government bodies (DIFE, Labor Office, BGMEA, etc.) to ensure legal compliance and smooth audits.

  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful working environment in line with WRAP, SEDEX, BSCI, and other compliance standards.

  • Monitor and control absenteeism, disciplinary actions, and factory-based HR interventions to reduce turnover.

  • Plan and implement HR training & development programs for workers, supervisors, and mid level managements to enhance productivity and skill level.

  • Lead internal communication, policy implementation, and support factory management in decision-making with HR data insights.

  • Prepare and submit regular different HR reports to corporate HR and top management.
