Responsibilities & Context:

1. Banking & Trade Finance

·       Handle all day-to-day coordination with banks for Import L/C opening, amendment, follow-up, and document submission.

·       Maintain and follow up files strictly as per Master L/C / Sales Contract requirements.

·       Review L/C terms vs PI/contract and ensure documentation matches bank requirements to minimize discrepancies.

·       Maintain trackers for: L/C pipeline, amendment history, maturity dates, payment schedules, document readiness, and bank charges.

·       Monitor and follow up payment-related stages (import payments + export proceeds realization support).

2. Bonded License, UD & Compliance

·       Maintain compliance and documentation discipline under the company’s Bond License / Bonded operations.

·       Ensure traceability and file completeness for bond imports → consumption/production → export.

·       Handle documentation and follow-up for UD (Utilization Declaration) and relevant bonded documentation.

·       Manage GSP/COO documentation where required (depending on destination/buyer).

·       Coordinate cash incentive / export incentive documentation (prepare/collect/maintain required files).

·       Liaise with General Bond Office, Customs, and relevant authorities for smooth execution and compliance.

3. Import Operations (Raw Materials / Components)

·       Execute and track the import workflow end-to-end: PI/PO alignment → L/C or TT → shipment booking → shipping documents → clearance coordination.

·       Maintain strong liaison with suppliers, shipping agents, port authority, freight forwarders, C&F agents, and customs officials.

·       Follow up with shipping lines and transport parties to ensure timely delivery.

·       Proactively prevent delays and cost leakages (e.g., demurrage/detention, document errors, late cut-offs).

4. Export Operations (Finished Goods)

·       Prepare and maintain all export documentation: Commercial invoice, packing list, shipping instructions, BL/AWB follow-up, COO/GSP, etc.

·       Ensure export documentation matches buyer/bank requirements to support timely proceeds realization.

·       Monitor and track all export stages from readiness to dispatch.

5. Leadership & Process Building

·       Take ownership of follow-ups across internal teams (Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production).

·       Implement checklists/SOPs to make documentation consistent and repeatable.

·       Drive accountability with agents/vendors and ensure tasks close on time.
