Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Commercial (Export) to join our Export team. The successful candidate will oversee export operations, manage export documentation, coordinate with stakeholders, ensure compliance with regulations and drive smooth shipment and payment processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and ensure smooth booking and handover of goods for export.
• Manage customs handling, export clearance and prepare accurate export documentation.
• Oversee UD (User Declaration), UD Amendments and Export Orders as per buyer and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review all export-related documents and monitor export processes until completion.
• Liaise with Banks, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Shipping Lines, Forwarding Agents and other relevant agencies.
• Ensure timely collection of Bills of Lading and submission of export documents to forwarding agents or banks.
• Take prompt action to collect export proceeds from customers and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Clearing & Forwarding (C&F) processes and ICC rules including UCP-600 regulations.
• Support senior management in reporting, process improvement and strategic planning within the export function.
