Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulate and maintain Research and Development (R&D) objectives and aligning objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other department heads/managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
∎ Develop product and liaison with Sales & Marketing department to ensure that products are within the pricing architecture with maintaining quality.
∎ Deliver value to the bottom line of the organization by articulating multiple research techniques
∎ Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Marketing and Operations.
∎ Develop concepts, products, and solutions by working with company business units.
∎ Monitor team matrices and objectives ensuring meeting of goals.
∎ Continuous Product Development to maintain organization's brand leadership and Identifying different areas for research to mitigate future challenges for a long term to maintain Brand and Cost leadership
∎ Research & Analyze the project by using GPH Laboratory.
∎ Update management with the new developments in steel sectors in the world.
∎ Improve and revise existing product formulations and process if necessary to optimize productivity and cost.
∎ Work with quality & production team for new product developments.
∎ Plan and evaluate departmental activities.
∎ Take leadership of projects in development, managing all team members assigned to projects to keep them moving forward on schedule.
∎ Conduct technical presentation to customer delegates.
∎ Research, design and evaluate projects as and when required by management.
∎ Develop reportees by providing them appropriate training and coaching opportunities
