Job Context:
∎ KDS Logistics ltd., the logistics wing of KDS Group, Situated in Chattogram; has been leading the ICD/ OFF DOCK industry since a long time with the best in-class services to its clients. We are looking for a well skilled, dynamic and proactive person to perform the role of a HSSE/ Fire Safety Officer under HR and Admin Department.
∎ Workplace: Work at Depot.
∎ You may do shifting duty based on requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure fire safety for the entire areas.
∎ Regular supervision of fire equipment such as Hydrant system, fire extinguisher, smoke detectors and other necessary fire & safety tools.
∎ Training & development of employees both depot and office regarding safety, protection, firefighting, first aid & others health & safety awareness.
∎ Prepare all safety standards, policy, reports and documentation regarding fire safety issue.
∎ Regular inspection of sensitive areas of the depot.
∎ Ensure that all fire man and security personnel are in right order and perform their duties as per requirement.
∎ Monitor the electrical power connections and take remedial measures immediately. Increase of any non-compliance.
∎ Conduct regular fire safety and other safety drill and exercise to aware and train employees for emergency incident.
∎ Implement and control of for safety as per direction of the management.
∎ Ensure total fire safety of the company to ensure that all health & safety procedures are followed.
∎ Must have the capacity to assess & solve any critical arising situation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At-least 03 (Three) years of experience in related field.
∎ Must have good communication skills.
∎ Making team for handling any HSSE & Fire Safety related issue.
∎ Should be people oriented.
∎ Six Months certified course from Fire service & Civil defense is mandatory.
∎ Diploma or certified course in fire, health & safety will be preferred.
∎ Having training on Environment & safety is preferred.
