∎ The HR Generalist is accountable for playing a central role across cross-functional human resources responsibilities and activities of the organization: HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and Training & Organizational Development; in direct reporting to the Head of HR. The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of human resources operations and provide hands-on assistance to HR specialists as per requirement.
∎ HR Operations
∎ Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters
∎ Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
∎ Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
∎ Manage the organization's employee database and prepare reports.
∎ Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
∎ Oversee employee labor laws and regulations to assure compliance
∎ Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship
∎ Reinforce the company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employees' safety
∎ Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
∎ Talent Acquisition
∎ Ensure that requisitions are fulfilled with qualified candidates in a timely manner
∎ Develop talent pipelines through sourcing channels, recruitment campaigns, internet searches, networking groups social media, database search and referrals
∎ Identify passive candidates using creative and innovative recruiting techniques
∎ Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify and understand key requirements, then build a comprehensive recruiting strategy
∎ Perform orientations and update records of new staff including background verification
∎ Organizational Development & Training
∎ Plan, coordinate, implement and deliver team-wide training
∎ Conduct needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness for the next/highest level of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of ZXY
∎ Review existing training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance
∎ Deliver a comprehensive range of training and education programs and work in collaboration with external qualified trainers
∎ Evaluate training courses, objectives and accomplishments.
∎ Plan onboarding strategies and perform new employees' orientation to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
∎ Arrange seminars, workshops, and conferences based on each department's needs
∎ Maintain the work structure by updating organogram, job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
∎ Recommend strategies to motivate employees.
∎ Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
∎ Process documentation and prepare reports relating to performance evaluations
∎ Research and suggest creative ideas for employee engagement and well-being initiatives to enhance organizational culture
∎ Support in preparing the engagement calendar and follow up on upcoming events
∎ Liaise and maintain relationships with both internal & external key contacts to ensure engagement goals are achieved
∎ Promote attendance and support in ensuring employees are engaged in company initiatives
∎ Participate in the planning, coordination and delivery of organization-wide engagement programs such as social celebrations, corporate events/ceremonies, employee well-being and awareness events and more
∎ Develop and run surveys to gain feedback on the engagement initiatives, accumulate the data and develop relevant reports with insights for future improvement
∎ Develop and proofread content for ECM internal communications and work closely with the Digital team to deliver the content in a timely manner
∎ Act as the minutes-taker following ECM team meetings and publish recorded updates in a cohesive manner
∎ Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
∎ High level of customer service skills
∎ Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines
∎ At least 7 years' relevant work experience in the Human Resources department in similar role will get preference
∎ Having prior RMG industry experience will be an added advantage
∎ Should have adept understanding of Labor Law and employment regulations
