∎ Graduate in Textile Engineering from a well reputed institute
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collect and analyze color standard swatch and testing standards from respective Business Unit’s Merchandiser.
∎ Receive approved sample directly from respective Business Unit’s Merchandiser or Design team via e-mail.
∎ Collect customer’s testing standard, order sheets and care label from respective Business Unit’s Merchandiser or Design team.
∎ Participate in Risk Analysis team meeting with respective Business Unit’s Merchandiser, Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) and Team Heads for critical orders when required.
∎ Assess overall aesthetic appearance, dead cotton, yarn’s hairiness, naps, patta, sticker lines, etc. of the garment
∎ Conduct multiple tests according to ZXY Lab SOP and customer’s requirement in three allocated categories of Physical, Color Fastness and Chemical Test.
∎ Monitor the progress of the tests and liaise with supervisor to ensure that the tests are completed within the stipulated time.
∎ Evaluate all test results and interpret against ZXY Lab SOP and International standards.
∎ Conduct research and assist supervisor to experiment with textiles to improve their look, feel, texture and durability.
∎ Develop chemicals that may be added to fabrics to make them more waterproof, flame-resistant, or shrink-resistant.
∎ Conduct root analysis of customer’s complains and disapprovals and experimenting using different methods to resolve the issues.
∎ Research availability of new equipment in the market to upgrade existing test methods and increase efficiency.
∎ Perform risk assessment on new testing equipment to prevent hazard in the workplace.
∎ Generate and update Customer & Vendor wise comprehensive test reports.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years’ experience in relevant field of Testing in any reputed 3rd Party Laboratory
∎ Must be knowledgeable of testing parameters, international testing standards on pretreatment, dyeing, and finishing of fabric/yarn, aesthetics, and physical properties
∎ Must have extensive experience in providing solutions for speedy and accurate approvals
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships and work as a team
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines
