• Strong knowledge of lingerie garment construction and production processes.
• The application should have experience in the following area(s): Production Analysis, Production management on cutting, Sewing and finishing.
• Knowledge of production planning, rejection control and understanding of industrial engineering in apparel production.
• Should have vast knowledge on process, planning, line set-up.
• Sound understanding of industrial engineering, line balancing, SMV, and productivity improvement.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good communication skills in English and Bengali.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and production reporting systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities & Context
• Lead and manage overall production operations of the lingerie manufacturing facility to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Develop and implement production plans, capacity planning, and resource allocation to ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machinery.
• Ensure smooth execution of pre-production, pilot run, and bulk production activities.
• Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Planning, Technical, IE, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Monitor production efficiency, line balancing, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to reduce defects, minimize rework, and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure achievement of production KPIs including efficiency, DHU, on-time shipment, absenteeism, and productivity targets.
• Analyze production reports and take corrective actions to eliminate bottlenecks and improve performance.
• Lead and develop production teams including Supervisors, and Line Chiefs.
• Conduct regular production meetings and review factory performance with the management team.
• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, technical specifications, quality standards, and company policies.
• Implement lean manufacturing and cost optimization initiatives to improve profitability.
• Ensure workplace safety, compliance requirements, and good manufacturing practices are maintained.
• Support new product development and smooth commercialization of new styles.
• Prepare and present production performance reports to senior management.
