Experience:
• Must have practical experience in Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Fabric Inspection, and Fabric Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Quality Manager/Deputy Quality Manager in a reputed textile or composite factory.
• Strong knowledge of 4-Point Fabric Inspection System, AQL Standards, Shade Management, GSM Control, Fabric Testing, Root Cause Analysis, and TQM.
• Sound knowledge of textile testing standards (ISO, ASTM, AATCC, Buyer Standards).
• Experience in handling customer quality requirements and third-party inspections.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet shipment deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point Presentation).
• Mail communication with buyer.
• Strong technical knowledge of knitting, dyeing, finishing, and fabric quality management.
Responsibilities:-
• Lead and manage the overall Fabric Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) operations.
• Ensure fabric quality complies with buyer specifications and international quality standards.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve fabric quality systems, SOPs, and inspection procedures.
• Monitor quality throughout Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Compacting, Inspection, and Packing processes.
• Ensure proper implementation of the 4-Point Fabric Inspection System and maintain quality records.
• Monitor fabric defects, shade variation, GSM, width, shrinkage, spirality, pilling, color fastness, and physical test results.
• Coordinate with Production, Dyeing, Knitting, Planning, Merchandising, Laboratory, and Maintenance departments to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Liaise with buyers, auditors, and third-party inspection teams regarding fabric quality matters.
• Ensure all laboratory and fabric testing activities are conducted according to buyer requirements.
• Set departmental KPIs and monitor quality performance regularly.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports for Management.
• Lead, train, motivate, and develop the QA & QC team to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
• Monitor fabric rejection rates and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and production waste.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and quality resources.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
